Aira Force & Greenside Mine walks
After a morning of heavy
rain we set out to have a
walk around Aira Force to
see the waterfalls. Once
back in Glenridding we
left The Inn on the Lake
and walked to Greenside
Mine to then find ourselves
in The Travellers Rest enjoying a pint of Helvellyn Gold!

The Ullswater lakeshore path
Starting from Glenridding we took

an Ullswater Steamer to

Howtown & walked to Pooley

Bridge via The Cockpit. After a

lunch stop in The Sun Pooley

Bridge we jumped back on the

Steamer and walked from

Howtown to Glenridding on the lakeshore path.

Glenridding Dodd & down Seldom Seen

A delightful afternoon's walk from Glenridding to the

summit of Glenridding Dodd & down Seldom Seen to

finish walking along Lake Ullswater.

A quick trip around The Edges

A nice morning so I did a

quick walk from Glenridding

to Red Tarn, up to High Spying

How, along Striding Edge to

Helvellyn. Then back home via

Swirral Edge & Catstye Cam.

The sun even made an

appearance on the way back

down.
